Program Offerings:
Private Training
Our private training programs are tailored to your dog and your needs. During these sessions, Tracey comes to your home and works with your family in the environments where the skills are needed most. Whether your dog pulls on the leash, steals things from the counter or barks like crazy at anything that moves, Tracey is able to help get you back to a relaxed life that you can enjoy with your dog. Each program includes a comprehensive, custom training plan that is designed to meet the holistic needs of both humans and dogs.
In-home private training sessions are great for new puppies, families and dogs struggling with general manners in their home or immediate environment. Sessions are generally scheduled weekly with support provided between sessions as needed.
Residential Programs
If you feel like you don't have the time to put in to training your dog and are looking for a well-rounded educational program for your dog, the Pawsitive Purpose Residential Training program may be a good fit for you! Our residential training program is a kennel free board and train for dogs 4 months and older who need help with basic life skills and manners. During this 2 month long program, dogs are matched with an inmate in one of our experienced prison programs. They live with their handler and receive thorough daily training. They also attend weekly group classes instructed by Pawsitive Purpose with thier handlers and other dogs in the program to advance their skills each week and learn how to work around distractions. Your dog will have outside time, playtime, enrichment and structured training daily. This live in program does not place your dog in a kennel style environment where they only get worked 2 times a day. They live with their handler and receive around the clock, personalized care and training.
Skills covered in our residential program include: Sit, down, come, wait, place, leash walking and more.
"Tracey is great to work with! She is patient (with dog and owner) and my reactive dog really responded well with her. I have seen so much improvement in my dog becoming less fearful and more disciplined. Her experience and knowledge helped explain reactions my dog was having and develop tailored and creative suggestions for improvement. I highly recommend!"

"Tracey was amazing in training our high energy puppy, Finley. She made everything look easy and simple and we saw improvements after each session. Finn is now well-behaved and we frequently get praised for his demeanor. Working with Tracey early on was one of the best things we could have done for our family. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to improve their relationship with their dog."
